Hi, I’m Nina Martin, welcome to my website Nervus Illustris! My mission is to spread the message of creating and maintaining balance in both personal and professional lives, whilst simplifying your projects, home and life in general.
When you need help with sorting out your thoughts around for example career choices, personal branding or starting your own business, I’m eager to assist through coaching.
Since I’m a fan of interdisciplinary thinking, my angle isn’t that of a specialist on one thing, but I focus on the overall situation and want to promote balance across all areas of life. I’ve been part of the decluttering community since 2010 and while it may seem unusual to mix also one’s home into discussions on routines, hrm well, isn’t the most efficient machine well-oiled and in other ways maintained, on schedule? Just saying. I love open minds, by the way.
While my range of coaching topics may seem rather wide at first, it’s still all about the balance. If you’re happy in one area, chances are you’re motivated to be as happy in the rest of them. And vice versa, if one area suffers, there’s a risk that the others will slowly begin to suffer equally.
E-courses and other forms of e-learning are quickly becoming a mainstream form of education and, seeing as I’m not alone in my introversion, I want to join all the teachers out there reaching students from across the globe. I have quite a few ideas for courses already, but so far I’m focusing on two of them to offer free of charge.
I think it’s important to know a bit more about a teaching style before investing at times large sums in courses and so I’ve decided to call them nano-courses (bite-sized and free), mini-courses (affordable and relatively short), and e-courses (premium and long).
In addition, I’ll offer the occasional free email course, and while I know that webinars are usually places to sell a product of some kind, I’m considering doing them just because. We’ll see.

What about Nervus Illustris? Nervus is Latin for nerve and illustris means illustrious. The illustrious nerve, the mind that is awake and active, bright and innovative. Not too scared of challenges, but prepared to overcome obstacles thrown in its way, whilst accepting at times slow progress. Patience and discipline aren’t very sexy concepts, but paired with clarity and focus I dare say miracles can happen, so here we are. Do stay and have a look around the place!
