1. You Are A Voice So Let’s Listen To It

This is a place for uninterrupted discussions where focus is on you. Growth happens in the unfamiliar unfortunately, but good news is you can cultivate your grit in the company of other people. Sometimes the best move to accelerate your progress is to work with a coach, who can help you tap into your wisdom.

Some Things About You

Here are some things about you that may ring true:

  • You already know yourself quite well, or at least you are excited about personal growth.
  • You stay accountable regarding your own life.
  • You seek an increased understanding of self.
  • You may be tired of doing everything on your own.
  • Your everyday life may be in a state of chaos, which makes you feel totally fed up.
  • You are ready to create the change you desire.

Some Of My Thoughts

Change is not easy at all times, but here are some things I think:

  • Your personal balance is my priority.
  • We don’t change the course of our lives by dreaming, but by taking concrete steps in everyday life.
  • A coach can help you arrive at the destination sooner.
  • I value your time and want to help you find clarity, focus and discipline as efficiently as possible.
  • I happily participate in the process of creating the roadmap you need to be successful—defined your way.

2. And What About Those Dreams?

Due to life circumstances changing dramatically, some events may close some doors permanently. However, not all doors are closed and some dreams (new ones?) can still be pursued!

What I Do Not Believe

  • “You are too old to dream!” No, dreams have no expiration date and you can dream at any age.
  • “You think a creative hobby can support you? Go to law school!” No, any career can support you if you have something someone is willing to pay for, enough to support you.
  • “You have to do all the things.” No, creating balance is about figuring out what matters, then sticking with that and doing it well enough.
  • “Let’s fix it real quick!” Ah, quick fixes… They are recipes for disaster or at the very least time spent fixing what wasn’t fixed the first time round.

What I Do Believe

  • Change can be good and bad.
  • As humans we tend to lose track of time in social media (because they are designed such).
  • We can live meaningful lives in homes regardless of their size.
  • As a creative entrepreneur in my other business branch, chaos stifles creativity.
  • We only have this moment. Yesterday can contain lessons and tomorrow may benefit from us bringing along those lessons.
  • Tweaking routines happens in phases, requires testing and editing, and they never seem permanently done.
  • Success can have as many definitions as there are people.

3. Getting Clear On The Role Of A Coach

It is important for both coach and client that the definition of coaching is clear, before beginning work together. I am a Certified Life Coach, CPLC, and committed to respectful, ethical coaching of all my clients.

No Consulting Or Teaching

There are many misconceptions out there regarding the work of a coach. Some of it is unfortunately perpetuated by people without a certificate or accreditation.

On my blog you find this series of posts to clarify the role of a coach: My Journey Into Coaching.

If the coach speaks more than about 20 % of the time, something is wrong.

The Short Version

Life coaching is a wonderful type of interaction, which happens on the client’s terms, with their needs and wants taking centre stage, and whilst tapping into their own source of wisdom.

Coaching doesn’t provide the client with advice, suggestions or new skills. It is neither mentoring, teaching, therapy nor consulting.

Coaching is results-driven and each session has a distinct rhythm.

4. My Coaching Themes

Themes

I coach one-on-one via Zoom or email on the following themes to facilitate your success:

  1. Life balance coaching
  2. Health and Wellness coaching
  3. Home Management coaching
  4. Leisure coaching
  5. Career coaching
  6. Business coaching

Remaining Flexible

If we started in career coaching, it is fully possible to end up in for example home management coaching. Life isn’t divided in neat boxes, which never interact (mess each other up if you will), but every piece of our everyday lives influence the other pieces.

Hence life balance coaching. I am the coach, who is interested in the overview, our balance between life’s different areas, in addition to digging deep on some topics.

1. Life Balance Coaching

Life Balance coaching is for you, for example if you:

  • Are at a crossroads in life, uncertain about what to do next.
  • Feel a generic “Blah, I don’t know what must change…”
  • Are okay with the different areas of your life, but think one gets too much attention at the cost of some other ones, and you want to make priority adjustments for increased balance.

2. Health And Wellness Coaching

Health and Wellness coaching is for you, for example if you:

  • Want to explore what health and wellness mean to you, both now and ideally.
  • Want to dedicate more time to your personal health and wellness.
  • Have new habits on your mind to implement, or old ones to change somehow.
  • Desire new experiences, but don’t know where to begin.

3. Home Management Coaching

Home Management coaching is for you, for example if you:

  • Want to simplify things to feel lighter, less burdened.
  • Need new and/or better routines at home, but don’t know how to make it happen yet.
  • Want to declutter in general or before downsizing.
  • Have another’s home to close after their death.

4. Leisure Coaching

Leisure coaching is for you, for example if you:

  • Feel as if you got lost along the way in work, chores and taking care of family.
  • Think it is hard to establish boundaries between work time and your own time.
  • Want to revisit old hobbies.
  • Want to try new activities.

5. Career Coaching

Career coaching is for you, for example if you:

  • Want to clarify what your personal brand should look like for work, to increase growth opportunities etc.
  • Want to ponder career options today, within the next few years and/or the remainder of your working years.
  • Need to define what career management means to you.

6. Business Coaching

Business coaching is for you, for example if you:

  • Have entrepreneurial dreams, whether as a full or part-time job.
  • Want to tackle mindset challenges such as imposter syndrome or perfectionism that are holding you back from leading yourself optimally.
  • Want to work on your relationship with marketing, since this is the only revenue-generating function of a firm, and as such a necessity in a sustainable business.

When Zoom Calls Are A No-Go And Email Coaching Sounds Great

Is this you? Maybe you:

  • Are extremely introverted.
  • Have anxiety about being on video calls.
  • Think better in writing than verbal output.
  • Have a hearing impairment.
  • Prefer progress that is structured differently than a one-hour coaching call followed by 1-3 weeks of working on your own.
  • Are so busy and/or have such a challenging schedule that Zoom calls will definitely be unsuccessful.
  • Live outside of the working hours of your preferred coach.
  • Have a limited budget, but can afford coaching via email.

I have got you covered! To assist people, who need or prefer text, email coaching is an option.

Due to its nature of requiring no scheduled time commitment from either party, usually it is more affordable than one-on-one coaching via Zoom or in person.

While a live coaching session has a specific rhythm to ensure the client achieves the goals they desire, email coaching makes progress in a differently structured way.

A coach may decide to include in this type of service package for example five replies per week in the back-and-forth discussion. This allows the client to make steady progress on their chosen topic.

While all work is done by the client just as in live coaching, some people benefit from the more frequent input by the coach.

In order to be successful, both client and coach must be strong communicators in text to avoid misunderstandings due to interpretation errors. Precision with words must feel enjoyable to a degree.

5. Resources Available Before Making An Investment

A Free Discovery Call

I offer a free 30-minute discovery call via Zoom to prospective clients. This is to:

  • Ensure we are on the same page regarding the meaning of coaching.
  • Get clear on what your current situation is and where you would like to be.
  • Discuss my service packages if you are uncertain what you need.
  • Give an opportunity for you to ask questions and voice concerns before committing to invest.
  • Make sure we are a great fit. I am happy to refer you to someone else if our world views collide or you need a different type of coaching than the kinds I offer at the moment.

My Services And Pricing Guide

I have put together a Services And Pricing Guide in which all services are presented in greater detail. In this PDF, I discuss among others:

  • My background and experience.
  • My current certificate and accreditation plan.
  • Values of importance, and more.
  • There is also a full outline of my coaching process, step by step.

The guide will answer many questions you may have, so please download it here:

Once the payment has gone through, I will send you an email within 24 hours (or the next working day) with everything you need to start working with me, including a contract to sign.
